A: We see about 3 homes each day fly over, but you can rarely hear them unless you’re standing outside.
Q: How often do planes fly over Ironwood Village on the weekend?
A: Most weekends are the busiest especially when holidays come around but most weekends we’ll see about 10 planes per day for Saturday and Sunday.
Q: How low to the planes fly over Ironwood Village?
A: When we see them, they are very high, no where near the altitude you would think they would be at when landing or taking off. They seem to be high enough to not be loud but not too high because the engines can be faintly heard.
Q: What kind of planes do you see fly over Ironwood Village?
A: All the planes we see are properly planes, most are single engine planes.

A: Yes, there has always been a Noise Abatement for the Scottsdale Area. The pilots are required to idle engines upon take off and when landing to cut down the noise of the engines.
