Ironwood Village in Scottsdale is a highly desirable community that has an average list price of 520k. Most homes in Ironwood Village are over 2400 sqft and have three car garages. Iroonwood Village averages $2400 annually for taxes. The taxes in Ironwood Village are 39% lower than any other community in Scottsdale because there are no CFD Taxes. (CFD- Community Facility District is for Roads, Curbs and Infrastructure. Ironwood HOA is currently, $27/monthly which is also cheaper than several other communities in this area.
Ironwood Village homes back to a desert wash which gives several home owners a premium lot since these homes do not have backyard neighbors.

One of the main concerns for each new home buyer for Ironwood Village is the flight path of Scottsdale Airport and it’s proximity to Ironwood Village. We’ve interviewed a local home owner in the area and the Q & A’s are below.
Q: How often do planes fly over this Scottsdale Community?
A: We see about 3 homes each day fly over, but you can rarely hear them unless you’re standing outside.
Q: How often do planes fly over Ironwood Village on the weekend?
A: Most weekends are the busiest especially when holidays come around but most weekends we’ll see about 10 planes per day for Saturday and Sunday.
Q: How low to the planes fly over Ironwood Village?
A: When we see them, they are very high, no where near the altitude you would think they would be at when landing or taking off. They seem to be high enough to not be loud but not too high because the engines can be faintly heard.
Q: What kind of planes do you see fly over Ironwood Village?
A: All the planes we see are properly planes, most are single engine planes.
Q: Are there any ordinances in Scottsdale that protect future loud planes from flying over?
A: Yes, there has always been a Noise Abatement for the Scottsdale Area. The pilots are required to idle engines upon take off and when landing to cut down the noise of the engines.
